Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Costa Rica

Albania is a little but cute country in southern Europe, not far from Serbia. It’s probably the least visited European countries but that is slowly changing as more visitors appreciate its splendour. It has exceptional, pure white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are lovely. They are normally white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could either sit in the warm sun on a blanket or rent a sunbed, the choice is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreign visitors and a number are so out of the way that you can be at the beach alone, even in during peak times.

There are many mountain areas in Albania. Those in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view a couple of waterfalls and pristine lakes in the area. Those mountains are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also great.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of local cafes to spend time in. Albania cities including Gjirokastra are worth spending time in to visit the unique old city area and also to visit a museum.

Albanian people are mostly warm and welcoming and will be glad to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit it.
